Optimize dom-wrapping procedures

Currently we use the $ function everywhere to wrap
the stuff up, but in most of the cases of the internal procedures
we don't really need the by ID search and other things.
So it would be a good idea to extract the actual wrapping procedure in a separated function. Should boost the things up for a notch
